Bees
When we bought our house, the sellers told us that in one of the large tree trunks in the backyard there was a big bee hive. They said that every year the bees come, but for some reason last year they never did. We have been hoping that they would come back, but we haven't seen anything. We took some pictures about a month ago of the old hive inside, but no bees. Yesterday when I came home from work, Ryan took me to the backyard for a surprise. There were hundreds of bees everywhere, swarming around the tree! It was awesome to see. So now we have a huge active beehive in our backyard! The sellers told us they never had any problems with any bee stings and they had two little girls that played in the backyard all the time. I think it's really neat, especially after the disappearing bee scare a few years ago.

Hiking
We went on a little hike today up Diamond Fork Canyon. It was really pretty, everything is starting to bloom and turn green! I love spring time. Recon did awesome, he loves being outside and he stayed right with us, leading the way most of the time. We hiked for a while up a trail through the mountains until we turned a corner and laying right in the middle of the trail was a giant moose. We backed away slowly and made our way down, but not without Ryan taking a picture of it. It's kinda blurry, but I wouldn't let him get any closer. I was kinda scared she was gonna charge us.

Recon
So we have decided to name our puppy Recon and we are now going to be R&R&R or R Cubed. We have been having so much fun with him over the last week. He has gotten so much bigger and his agility has improved. He has learned sit, shake and down and he is getting pretty good at coming when called and walking on his leash. He loves being outdoors, we go on walks every day and he loves playing in the backyard. He likes to meet new people too, especially little kids. I gave him a bath today and he was so clean and smelled so good until Ryan let him play in the dirt digging holes. Oh well at least he had fun. We really love him though, he is so much fun to have around!
