Some Fun

We went to the Strawberry Days Rodeo last night with our friends Pearl and Matt. I haven't been to a rodeo in a while and I have never been to the Strawberry one in Pleasant Grove, which is weird because I live in Utah. We had a lot of fun and ate some good food. We are hoping that we can make it to Frontier Days in Cheyenne at the end of July, Ryan keeps telling me how awesome it is. Plus Josh Turner is performing and I'd love to see him.

On Wednesday night, Recon graduated puppy school! He had perfect attendance and was definitely top of the class. We won't really miss having to go every Wednesday, but we will miss all of Recon's buddies that he played with. He would come home exhausted and sleep so well every time. So far Recon has learned how to: Sit, down, stay, leave it, shake, and play dead. He's a pretty good boy. We are such proud parents.

We got home last night from our quick trip to California for Henry's baby blessing. We had tons of fun hanging out with Phil and Nicole, Nicole's family and of course Tori and Henry. We had a bbq on Saturday night with the amazing tri tip that Nicole's dad has mastered making. We have been looking forward to having it again since Tori's first birthday. Tori had so much fun entertaining us all, she has incredible amounts of energy! She is so cute, we love her so much. We all took turns holding Henry, he's such a good baby, he hardly ever cries.

I went and picked Recon up from the kennel this morning, he was so happy to see me! We both missed him so much. They said he howled a lot when he was alone in his cage. He loved playing with all the other dogs though. Hopefully he liked it cause he's gona have to go back when we go to Jerusalem.

New News

We found out yesterday that my bro Andrew and his new wife Analyn are having a baby in December! We are very excited for them, it will make grandkid number 3 in the family.

As for granddog number 1, he is in his teenager phase. He likes to do whatever we tell him not to. But he's still so cute and we love him more and more everyday. We went hiking over the weekend to Stewart Falls up by our cabin. Recon loved it, especially when we got to the falls. He was splashin around in the water and drank about a gallon of it. He also discovered this week how to climb up on the couch and now he thinks it's his spot. I told Ryan not to bring him up on the couch with us when he was little because this is what will happen. Oh well.

He also loves the sprinkler in our backyard
