Two Weeks Already!

Ellie turned two weeks on Sunday! My baby girl is growing up way too fast, but it is exciting to see her develop. She had her first check up yesterday, she now weighs 8lbs and 4.5oz and is 21 inches long! When we lay her on her tummy she can lift up her head and look around. She is so much more alert and loves to look around and discover all the bright colors and interesting shapes. She is a very curious little thing. She still likes to sleep a lot though and has done well for the most part through the night. The doctor said that I can start letting her sleep 6 hours at night without waking her to eat. I  got 5 1/2 hours of consecutive sleep last night! First time in weeks! I feel like a new gal this morning.

Sweet Girl

This baby girl is just so dang cute and photogenic. I can't get enough of her! She's already growing up so fast, I wish I could slow down time.

Elizabeth (Ellie) Rose Dunlop was born April 28th, 2013 weighing 7 lbs 7 oz and was 20 inches long. We are so excited to welcome this miracle into our home and start our new life with her. She is truley an angel and a blessing in our lives. We love her so much!!! Here are some pictures from the past week of her new life with us...

Can't Wait for Swimmin!

I was out shopping the other day and came across this. I thought it was just way too adorable and had to buy it! I cannot wait to take our baby girl swimmin this summer!

 

Getting Ready

Today marks the first day of my last trimester! I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone. It seems like yesterday we discovered the news and now here we are less than three months away now. We have been doing lots to get ready and we pretty much have most of the basics that we'll need for our little girl to arrive. 

 

Here are some of the things I am excited about...

 

Ryan actually surprised me back in October for my birthday with this crib that I had been daydreaming about and I love it! I looked for a long time for bedding and we finally found this set a few weeks ago.

 

Right after we found out the news, Ryan made this sweet little rattle for the baby.

 

He also made these cute little teething toys.

 

 

We are so excited for her to get here. It has been such a year of change in our lives and this is a great blessing for us. We can't wait!
