We got home last night from our quick trip to California for Henry's baby blessing. We had tons of fun hanging out with Phil and Nicole, Nicole's family and of course Tori and Henry. We had a bbq on Saturday night with the amazing tri tip that Nicole's dad has mastered making. We have been looking forward to having it again since Tori's first birthday. Tori had so much fun entertaining us all, she has incredible amounts of energy! She is so cute, we love her so much. We all took turns holding Henry, he's such a good baby, he hardly ever cries.

I went and picked Recon up from the kennel this morning, he was so happy to see me! We both missed him so much. They said he howled a lot when he was alone in his cage. He loved playing with all the other dogs though. Hopefully he liked it cause he's gona have to go back when we go to Jerusalem.

New News

We found out yesterday that my bro Andrew and his new wife Analyn are having a baby in December! We are very excited for them, it will make grandkid number 3 in the family.

As for granddog number 1, he is in his teenager phase. He likes to do whatever we tell him not to. But he's still so cute and we love him more and more everyday. We went hiking over the weekend to Stewart Falls up by our cabin. Recon loved it, especially when we got to the falls. He was splashin around in the water and drank about a gallon of it. He also discovered this week how to climb up on the couch and now he thinks it's his spot. I told Ryan not to bring him up on the couch with us when he was little because this is what will happen. Oh well.

He also loves the sprinkler in our backyard

Last Week

Thought I'd post a little about what we've been up to over the last week.

My Parents and Anna went to California to see Henry and help out Phil and Nicole.
We now have a niece and a nephew! Henry's already 2 1/2 weeks old!

We stayed home and with Ember and Recon. We took them to Bridal Veil Falls on Saturday.
Recon was timid of the water and Ember jumped right in, shouldn't it be the other way around?

Recon has been a little menace lately, he tore my parsley, basil and rosemary out of their pots and shredded them to pieces. But look at his little "innocent" face, it's hard not to be mad.

Recon had his third puppy class, we go every Wednesday night.
He even has a girlfriend, her name is Kinta and they can't leave each other alone.
Kinta is a Brittnay Spaniel, she's so cute

He also has a friend named Charlie, He's a Mastiff and is way bigger than Recon! Sorry I didn't get a very good pic of him.

On Saturday morning I went horseback riding with my friend Pearl and her sisters. We went out to their ranch in Payson. When we were growing up, we would be out there every day in the summer. We would wake up early in the morning and do work around the Ranch and then later we would play and ride horses. It was so much fun. I can't remember the last time I went riding, it's been way too long. I love horses so much, one of my goals in life is to have a few of my own someday. Pearl's dad took a picture of us, so I'll have to get it from him and post it.

I had to post these pictures...
This is Pearl and I out at the ranch when we were probably like 15ish
This is me with my horse Legacy, Pearl's dad let me call him my horse:)
I loved riding him!
Other than that, we had a pretty good week. We both worked a lot and got some projects done around the house. I'm looking forward to having this next weekend off, we are planning on going on our first camping trip of the year!

Ryman

I just had to write a little somthin about my hubby and tell you all how proud I am of him. The thing that attracted me the most when we first started dating was that he had so much ambition. He has always treated me so well and I am blessed to have him in my life. He is such a hard worker and he has been doing so awesome in school. Ryan applied for an internship at Geneva Rock in the office with the head estimator this spring. We found out last week that out of 177 applicants, Ryan was the only one picked to fill the job! He started work on Tuesday and is doing really well. Ryan is not one to brag so I have to do it for him. He has his own desk/cubicle, company phone, two cars to drive, flexible hours and even a secretary! The best thing is that he can actually sleep in and come home earlier and he doesn't stink! When he runs equipment he comes home filthy and has to jump right in the shower. He also has Fridays off, so we are going to have lots of time this summer to go on camping trips! I'm really excited about that because when he runs equipment he works such long hours and is so exhausted over the weekend, we hardly get out to do anything. He still has a few years left in school, but with this job he can still take a few credits over the summer and get ahead. I am just so proud of him, he really is amazing. I am such a lucky girl. I tend to be a little too serious sometimes and Ryan really keeps me grounded, he is so light hearted and loves to have a good time and be goofy. I know that he loves me and would do anything for me. I call him my hero, he came into my life at a time when I really needed him and he has changed it forever. I love him with all my heart and I know we'll be together forever!

And as for the other man in my life...

He has gained half his weight since we got him a month ago! We started puppy classes a week ago and he is doing so good at training, he's the head of his class! He has developed a little fetish with the bathtub though, he's so funny, we always catch him in it.
